Welcome to a concert with cellist Dobrawa Czocher who loves to explore new aspects of the cello sound, mixing classical and contemporary music. Her long career as an award-winning chamber and orchestra musician means she moves comfortably between philharmonic music and more alternative approaches.

Born into a musical family, she started playing at the age of seven and soon became inseparable from the cello and decided to dedicate her life to music. “I am speaking through cello to other souls” Czocher says about her music. She is a graduate of two prestigious music universities: Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and Hochschule für Musik in Germany. She is also the winner of several solo and chamber music competitions.

For many years she has been collaborating with her good friend, pianist Hania Rani, who performed at the Nobel Prize Museum in 2022. Together they released two albums Biała flaga (2015) and Inner Symphonies (2021). Earlier this year, Dobrawa Czocher released her solo album Dreamscapes. With this album, Czocher takes listeners on a journey through the unconscious in a musical exploration of dreams that twists, bends and expands time.

Before and after the concert, Bistro Nobel offers a special Friday menu with well-selected small dishes, suitable wines, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options.
