Experience a magical evening with Stockholm-based saxophonist Bear Garden, who has just released his third album Up. Prepare to be swept away by his modern melodic pop with influences from jazz, soul and electronica.

Bear Garden moves like a chameleon between music genres. In his songs, pop and nu jazz blends with improvisations and groovy influences from neo-soul. The latest single Hey Ye Ye Yeah bursts with color and energy. It is the first single from the new album Up (2024), released earlier this year.

Martin Wirén, the person behind Bear Garden, draws inspiration from his hometown Gällivare and the harsh, barren nature of northern Sweden. As a composer and saxophonist with scholarships from organizations such as STIM and the Royal Swedish Academy of Music, he creates genre-defying compositions and atmospheric soundscapes with an uncompromising drive forward.

The concert begins at 18:00 and has a duration of approximately 60 min.

During the evening, Bistro Nobel serves small dishes from our Friday menu as well as cocktails, wine, beer and non-alcoholic options. The bistro is open until 21:00. The ticket price also includes entrance to the museum’s exhibitions, which are also open until 21:00.
