Money makes the world go around! But the Prize in Economic Sciences also shows that economics is about more than money – it is also about human behaviour and social relations. In recent years it has been awarded for contributions to contract theories and field experiments aimed at understanding and combating poverty. Members of the Economics Prize Committee will explain.
