Greta Thunberg is a Swedish climate and environmental activist who encourages people to listen to science and inspires young people around the world to rise up for the climate. Johan Rockström is professor of Earth System Science and Director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research in Germany.

Greta Thunberg will be at the Nobel Prize Museum in Stockholm for the conversation and Johan Rockström will join the call from his desk in Potsdam. Gustav Källstrand, Nobel Prize expert at the museum, will moderate the conversation that will be produced by Nobel Media.

The Nobel Prize Museum has been closed since 20 March due to Covid-19, but continues to invite to interesting conversations digitally with various experts where the focus is on paying attention to how science makes a difference to peoples’ lives.

The conversation will be in English and broadcast live at 12:00 CEST on 22 April via the Nobel Prize’s official channels on Facebook: facebook.com/Nobelprize and YouTube: www.youtube.com/nobelprize, as well as on nobelprize.org.
