Clara Åhlvik new Head of Exhibitions at Nobel Prize Museum

“I am attracted by the boundary-breaching power inherent in the Nobel Prize, which spans everything from the tiniest little particle to the biggest issues for the future –issues that affect us on many different levels. Being able to create public exhibitions about complex issues, which at the same must be relevant in the present, is something I am more than pleased to work with,” Clara Åhlvik says.

For more than 20 years, Clara Åhlvik has worked with producing exhibitions at both national and regional museums as well as independent organisations. She has curated major exhibitions such as Dinosaursand Vikingsto contemporary art at Bo01 City of Tomorrow, Craftwerk 2.0, Evil Designand the main exhibition On Stage at the newly opened Swedish Museum of Performing Arts. She has also run courses and workshops and lectured about museums and exhibitions at several universities. Her most recent position was at the Swedish National Museum of Science and Technology.

Clara Åhlvik will assume her new position as Head of Exhibitions in September, 2019.
