Money makes the world go around! But the Prize in Economic Sciences also shows us that economics covers a lot more territory – it is also about human behaviour, relationships and improving our societies. Last year’ prize-rewarded research was about the impact of minimum wages, immigration and education on labour markets. What research received the prize this year? Members of the economics prize committee will explain.
The panellists will be Henry Ohlsson, deputy governor of the Riksbank, and representatives of the economic sciences prize committee. Olof Somell of the Nobel Prize Museum will moderate the discussion.
