Friday 6 October is Peace Prize Day. The Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded to a broad range of recipients over the years. Perhaps that is why the prize is so widely talked about, but also because it touches on major, crucial issues.
At this evening event, we will we discuss the prize announced just a few hours earlier and its role in the world. We will meet Stefan Löfven – former Prime Minister, who works today with the United Nations and other organisations; Caroline Delgado, senior researcher at SIPRI with a doctorate in peace and conflict studies; and Gustav Källstrand, Nobel Prize expert and historian. Carin Klaesson of the Nobel Prize Museum will moderate the discussion. Language: Swedish.
The evening will be framed by music featuring Ebba Forsberg, whose work has included critically acclaimed interpretations of Nobel Prize laureate Bob Dylan.
The ticket price also includes admission to the museum’s exhibitions, which are open until 21:00. Before and after the conversation, Bistro Nobel will serve its Friday menu − including carefully selected small dishes, suitable wines, beer, cocktails or non-alcoholic alternatives. The Bistro will also be open until 21:00.
