Is there life in space? When the first planets outside our solar system were discovered, we could seriously begin to investigate the conditions for life in space. But what should we be looking for? Didier Queloz received a Nobel Prize for the discovery of the first exoplanet – something that opened a new world for the research of new worlds in the universe. Today, he heads the Center for the Origin and Prevalence of Life at ETH in Zurich with a focus on exploring the origin of life. In a conversation with the Nobel Prize Museum’s Gustav Källstrand for the podcast Ideas that change the world, Didier Queloz talks about the search for life in the universe.
The Life Eternal exhibition can be visited before or after the conversation, and your ticket also gives you entry to the Nobel Prize Museum within a month.
Members of the Nobel Prize Museum – look out for a special offer at Liljevalchs in connection with this in the next member’s letter!
