There are almost always alternatives. But when it comes to organising society, democracy is still the best option for ensuring the freedom and rights of people.

On 28 March 2025, teachers from around the world will gather in Stockholm. Throughout the day, Nobel Prize laureates, scientists, psychologists, and educators will offer various perspectives on the theme. Let us together explore the future of democracy.

Registration

Teachers from all over the world are invited to participate. The conference fee is SEK 600 (approximately 50 €) to be paid by credit card.

How do we teach about democracy, trust, and critical thinking? What skills do young people need to become informed participants in shaping and safeguarding a democratic society?

Teachers travelling from abroad to Sweden to attend the Nobel Prize Teacher Summit 2025 will have the possibility to take part in a four-day extended programme arranged by the Nobel Prize Museum.
