Who would have thought that a dress could explain this year’s Nobel Prizes? Since 2011, students at Beckmans School of Design have been creating free interpretations of the Nobel Prizes in the form of fashion creations. The artistic interpretations provide a playful introduction to scientific discoveries, peace work and literature.
This evening, we take a closer look at the exhibition Nobel Creations 2024 and this year’s Nobel Prizes. Why are these discoveries and achievements so important that they deserve the world’s most prestigious prize? In his will, Alfred Nobel wrote that the prize should be awarded to those who have worked for the greatest benefit of mankind. So what are this year’s prizes about and how do they make a difference?
