According to Alfred Nobel’s will, the Nobel Prize should be awarded to individuals who, in their respective fields, have contributed to “the greatest benefit to humankind.” The impact of Nobel Prize laureates in peace and medicine is often easy to recognize—a new vaccine saves lives, just as peace organizations working to end hunger and ensure food reaches those in need do.

However, some past prizes in these categories are viewed differently today. How should we understand them in light of what we know today?

Join us for a Friday evening guided tour dedicated to deepening our understanding of efforts to save lives.

We offer a package for 210 SEK including entrance and guided tour as well as a non-alcoholic cocktail and snacks. Tonight’s cocktail is Spicy Pink Paloma, an organic and locally produced taste explosion of tart red grapefruit, lime and chilli.

Photo policy

In order to be able to share all the fun things that happen at the museum, we take photos, film and live broadcast many of our events. The material can be used in the Nobel Prize Museum’s communication channels, marketing and social media. If an event is organised in collaboration with another actor, the material can be used in their communication. Please contact us if you have any questions about this.
