The extended programme is exclusive for participants travelling from abroad to Sweden to attend the Nobel Prize Teacher Summit. Get to know the Swedish school system from within, meet colleagues for deeper discussions and take the opportunity to see more of Stockholm when visiting the conference.

Wednesday, 28 September
From 14:00 at Nobel Prize Museum: Drop-in with coffee/tea available in Bistro Nobel.
14:30 The Nobel Prize banquet – behind the scenes. A customized guided tour of the exhibition at the Nobel Prize Museum (also available at 15:20).
15:00 A welcome address and an introduction to the Nobel Prize Teacher Summit and the Extended Programme at the Nobel Prize Museum.
15:20 The Nobel Prize banquet – behind the scenes. A customized guided tour of the exhibition at the Nobel Prize Museum.
15:45 A light meal, coffee/tea in Bistro Nobel.
16:30 We walk from the museum to the Stockholm City Hall (20 min walk).
17:00-18:30 – Reception at the Stockholm City Hall with a welcoming by the City of Stockholm, a drink and a guided tour. Free of charge for all international participants to the Nobel Prize Teacher Summit.
Thursday, 29 September
9:00-17:00 The democracy mission in the Swedish schools.
Introduction, school visits and workshop at the Nobel Prize Museum.
This day will give you an insight in how the democracy mission in the Swedish curriculum is formulated and how it is being interpreted in daily life in schools.
Friday, 30 September
8:30-16:30 Nobel Prize Teacher Summit 2022 at Münchenbryggeriet (The Münchenbryggeriet Conference Centre), Stockholm. General program will be posted later on.
Saturday, 1 October
11:00 Guided tour of our new exhibition Life Eternal at Liljevalchs Art Gallery, Djurgårdsvägen 60, Djurgården, Stockholm.
