Which smell of ice cream would you like? Maybe that’s how the icecream seller should phrase it, because most of our taste sensations has to do with our smell. But how does it actually work? And what is the trigeminal system?

During the night we will explore how our senses and different receptor systems interact to create taste sensations. Welcome to this workshop held by two taste experts, who share their knowledge while you get to experience some different flavours.

The workshop is led by Per Styregård, journalist and wine critic in Dagens Industri and author of the book Smakens makt, and Johan Lundström, Professor of Psychology at Karolinska Institutet and author of over 100 scientific works on the sense of smell and taste. The workshop will be held in Swedish.

The ticket price also includes entrance to the museum’s exhibitions. The exhibitions, the bistro and the shop are open until 21:00.
