When did time begin and how long is the present? The question of what time actually consists of, has been with humanity for centuries. In NOW AND THEN – a small exhibition on measuring and experiencing time<\/em> we meet physicists and writers who investigate one of humanity’s greatest mysteries. The exhibition also shows the twelve-hour long video work Self Portrait as Time<\/em> by artist Marcus Coates.<\/p>\n

Actors Magnus Krepper<\/strong> and Sofia R\u00f6nneg\u00e5rd<\/strong> takes us on a time travel through texts on the theme of memories and time. The texts will be read in Swedish. During the evening, DJ Hanna Kihlander<\/strong> plays music from different eras.<\/p>\n

NOW AND THEN – a small exhibition on measuring and experiencing time<\/em> is created by Karl-Johan Cottman, curator, Birger Lipinski, exhibition design, and Atelj\u00e9 Grotesk, graphic design. It will be on display at the Nobel Prize Museum from 6 September to 1 December 2024. Read more about the exhibition here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
