How is the cosmos structured? What is life? And what makes us human? Since 1901, the Nobel Prize has been awarded for groundbreaking discoveries, brilliant ideas, moving stories, and peace efforts. All have provided new perspectives on our lives and our future.

The Nobel Prize Museum’s new exhibition These things changed the world delves into remarkable discoveries and achievements, through personal items from Nobel Prize laureates, which they donated to the museum. Objects from everyday life and personal stories are mixed with breathtaking existential and scientific questions.

Through the objects, you can discover how your life and the world you live in have changed thanks to researchers, writers, and activists working in the fields of science, literature, and peace.

Welcome to a festive opening night of the exhibition with music by members of Stegreif – the improvising symphony orchestra.
