Friday 6 October is Peace Prize Day. The Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded to a broad range of recipients over the years.\u00a0Perhaps that is why the prize is so widely talked about, but also because it touches on major, crucial issues.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

At this evening event, we will we discuss the prize announced just a few hours earlier and its role in the world. We will meet <\/span>Stefan L\u00f6fven<\/span> \u2013 <\/span><\/strong>former Prime Minister, who works today with the United Nations and other organisations; <\/span>Caroline Delgado<\/span>, <\/span><\/strong>senior researcher at SIPRI <\/span>with a doctorate in peace and conflict studies; and <\/span>Gustav K\u00e4llstrand<\/span>,<\/span><\/strong> <\/b>Nobel Prize expert and historian. <\/span>Carin Klaesson<\/span><\/strong> of the Nobel Prize Museum will moderate the discussion.\u00a0<\/span>Language: Swedish.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The evening will be framed by music featuring <\/span><\/span>Ebba Forsberg<\/span><\/strong>, whose work has included critically acclaimed interpretations of Nobel Prize laureate Bob Dylan.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The ticket price also includes admission to the museum\u2019s exhibitions, which are open until 21:00. Before and after the conversation, Bistro Nobel will serve its <\/span>Friday menu<\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u2212 <\/span><\/span>including carefully selected small dishes, suitable wines, beer, cocktails or non-alcoholic alternatives. The Bistro will also be open until 21:00.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
