“It seems, you are happy for nothing,” the Nobel Prize laureate Pär Lagerkvist wrote. But “nothing” can sometimes mean many things. Former archbishop KG Hammar and the Nobel Prize Museum’s Carin Klaesson, will discuss Lagerkvist’s rich authorship that touched upon man’s eternal questions. The conversation will be held in Swedish.

After the conversation, we will listen to his poems in the form of music performed by Bo Sundström and Frida Öhrn. It will be an evening about love and anxiety, faith and doubt, but also about the different faces of evil and the good forces that creates hope.

The conversation starts at 18:00. Before and after, Bistro Nobel serves small, tasty dishes and bubbly drinks from the evening menu. The bistro is open until 21:00. The ticket price also includes entrance to the museum’s exhibitions, which are also open until 21:00.

To purchase tickets, see below. Purchased tickets are non-refundable.
