If Alfred Nobel were alive today, he would certainly be engaged in helping to find solutions to these global problems. Today\u2019s challenges for future generations are very large. They are listed in the United Nations Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development and include abolishing extreme poverty, reducing inequality, improving health, promoting peace and justice and solving the climate crisis. How can science contribute, and what can each individual do? <\/span><strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Stefan Swartling Peterson <\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\">has worked as chief of the health section at UNICEF and is now professor of global transformations for health at Karolinska Institutet.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Listen as he is interviewed live on Karolinska Institutet\u2019s podcast Medicinvetarna about how all of us can make a difference and turn things around together.
