This year marks 50 years since Earth Day was first organised to highlight major environmental challenges in the world.<\/p>\n
Greta Thunberg is a Swedish climate and environmental activist who encourages people to listen to science and inspires young people around the world to rise up for the climate. Johan Rockstr\u00f6m is professor of Earth System Science and Director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research in Germany.<\/p>\n
Greta Thunberg was at Nobel Prize Museum in Stockholm for the conversation and Johan Rockstr\u00f6m joined the call from his desk in Potsdam. Gustav K\u00e4llstrand, Nobel Prize expert at the museum, moderated the conversation that was produced by Nobel Media.<\/p>\n
