Clara \u00c5hlvik has long experience of working with exhibitions at a large number of museums and has organised many highly publicised exhibitions that have been displayed around Sweden.","info":false,"post_block":[{"acf_fc_layout":"text_content","text_block":"<p>\u201cI am attracted by the boundary-breaching power inherent in the Nobel Prize, which spans everything from the tiniest little particle to the biggest issues for the future \u2013issues that affect us on many different levels. Being able to create public exhibitions about complex issues, which at the same must be relevant in the present, is something I am more than pleased to work with,\u201d Clara \u00c5hlvik says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cClara has solid experience of exhibition management at museums and cultural institutions. She has an outstanding talent for seeing what is timely, and she will play a vital role in our efforts to attract new visitors to discover how science, literature and peace efforts contribute to a better world,\u201d says Erika Lanner, Director of Nobel Prize Museum.<\/p>\n<p>For more than 20 years, Clara \u00c5hlvik has worked with producing exhibitions at both national and regional museums as well as independent organisations. She has curated major exhibitions such as <em>Dinosaurs<\/em>and <em>Vikings<\/em>to contemporary art at <em>Bo01 City of Tomorrow<\/em>, <em>Craftwerk 2.0, Evil Design<\/em>and the main exhibition <em>On Stage<\/em>\u00a0at the newly opened Swedish Museum of Performing Arts. She has also run courses and workshops and lectured about museums and exhibitions at several universities. Her most recent position was at the Swedish National Museum of Science and Technology.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Clara \u00c5hlvik will assume her new position as Head of Exhibitions in September, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Nobel Prize Museum<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Nobel Prize shows that ideas can change the world.
