This year’s Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel is closely linked to natural experiments – experiments that can only be studied and researched, not initiated.
Our interpretation of the prize is a dress filled with graphical elements. Like the natural fall of the cloth, natural experiments cannot be controlled since there are so many unknown and unusual factors linked to the results, until now.
With our creation, we want to reflect the Laureates’ way of measuring the consequences of and controlling these natural experiments. The dress consists of staples that bend around the body and create a graph. Together with the light blue light and the black welded seams, we make the wearer a part of the graph.
