Climate Change Changes Everything

The Nobel Prize Teacher Summit is an international teacher conference held in Stockholm every year in October. On 11 October teachers from over 30 countries met Nobel Prize Laureates, top scientists and peace activists around the climate issue.

The way we address climate change in education will have a huge impact on the life of future generations. The conference was built upon the following questions: How do we fulfil our duty to educate without creating anxiety and fear? How do we support our students to transform their urge to make a difference into constructive action?

The initiative builds on the ability of the Nobel Prize to inspire people to seek out knowledge, to ask questions and to attempt to understand and improve the world. Without great teachers, there would be no new Nobel Prizes.
