Is the museum open?
Given the recommendation issued by the Public Health Agency of Sweden to avoid indoor environments such as shops, malls, museums, libraries, public baths and gyms, Nobel Prize Museum is closed
I booked a ticket to an event but I have not received any confirmation, what should I do?
We do send out confirmations. Take a look in your spam if it doesn’t show up. Our ticket system uses one of the world’s best distributors with a very high level of deliverance. If it doesn’t arrive it is most likely your personal security settings that block certain e-mails.
The event that I wish to join is full, is there a waiting list?
Unfortunately there is no waiting list, but you can take part of the event by standing. See what’s on. Join us for our pub evenings on Fridays between 17.00–20.00, free admission.
Opening hours & admission
Generally we are open Tue–Thur 11.00–17.00, Fri 11.00–20.00, Sat–Sun 10.00–18.00, but sometimes exceptions occur så you better double check here. During June–August 09.00–20.00. General admission 130 SEK, students/senior citizens 90 SEK. Free admission for children up to 18 years.

Special tours and accessibility
Here you find information about accessibility for visitors with impaired hearing, sight or ability to move, and also information about special tours adjusted for people with dementia and a tactile tour for people who is partially sighted.
Open workshop during holidays
During holidays and Sundays when the workshop is open you can drop-in between 13.00–16.00 In exceptional cases a ticket is needed which is fetched in the museum entrance for every full hour. Here you can double check the exact details for your workshop. The sessions last for about an hour.

Are you curious about the founder of the Nobel Prize Alfred Nobel? Take a look at the official website of the Nobel Prize and read about Alfred’s life and work. In the museum we have certain Alfred room where we present a copy of the will that the Nobel Prize is built upon, photos, letters and Alfred’s death mask.
